Repairs on the Frigidaire Washer Model GLTF2940ES3

1) Model GLTF2940ES3

2) Toll Free Phone

3) Performance

4) Door Lock

5) Front of Machine

 6) On the phone camera it looked like I had found the plug...

7) But when I zoomed in I could see that this was a back flow preventer.

8) Looking from the sidewall side.

9) I propped the flap open to see inside.

10) Definitely open through the impeller.

11) This is the washer (top) side of the boot. Pretty plugged!

12) Pump side of the boot.

13) Having trouble putting this back together. Trying to see how this sensor/switch is tethered to the tub? It is hidden and I couldn't get it to release... after almost getting the boot on the sensor over and over again I managed to pull the end off the plastic anchor holding the sensor and was able to get the boot back in place.

14) I think I just wanted to remember that I had a form pad to kneel on.

15) Also I ended up pulling it just out enough that it would lean back against the wall and stay put.

Lastly I ran some water in and pumped it back out to rinse the sewer smell out of the washer.
This is work done on 1-14-2018 while off work for Martin Luther King JR Day.
